Crossfire Motorcycles Review: Are they Made in China?

Crossfire Motorcycles are becoming popular with numerous dealers across Australia, but do they have a good reputation?

Frontaer is always unbiased in their evaluations and simply wants to help people find great places to go riding their dirt bikes. In fact, we created a state-by-state guide to help you.

There is no commercial relationship between us and them, and we aren’t paid a cent. We’ll simply give you our unbiased review so you can make up your own mind.

Crossfire Motorcycles Review

Chinese pit bikes and dirt bikes have become all the rage in recent years, and it’s easy to see why. When the Japanese and Euro manufacturers like Honda and KTM are charging a fortunate to Australian families, someone has to fill the gap.

After all, you want the kids to be out there and having fun as we did during our younger years, instead of scrolling on Wastebook and showing off a little too much on Instagram.

That’s why companies like Crossfire exist. They want to bring affordable dirt bikes to Australians who can’t afford the fancy gear nor the expensive servicing and repairs.

Crossfire Motorcycles are Made in China but have some Italian influence. Their final assembly is done here in Australia, otherwise everything is built in Chinese factories and exported. This explains why they are so cheap.

What They Offer

Cheap thrills. When you could spend months or years saving up for your kids’ dirt bike, you could instead be seeing them out there riding within the next month or two.

You’ll find dirt bikes, quad bikes and go karts in their range, as well as some seriously cool buggies too. The engines are reliable, though not so powerful and they lack that ‘oomph’ in each powerband. Certainly no 2-stroke!

What most people don’t realize is that Crossfire Motorcycles are illegal to be ridden anywhere except for private property. No problem if you’ve got a few acres or take the bikes to a riding area, but if you’re looking to ride these in state forests…then you’re outta luck.

It would be good to see ADR compliance on their 250cc varieties in the near future. It seems as though Braaap is working on one at the moment, though that company has had its fair share of problems too.

Customer Complaints

Did you notice a few negative reviews and experiences like we did when researching? Well, it’s all quite straight forward. Most people won’t detail positive experiences online yet are quick to leave a negative experience. As a brand, that would be quite frustrating.

What you’ll notice that Crossfire uses a network of dealers across Australia. So it could be the dealer themselves that is being a slight pain when the product itself is perfectly fine.

Likewise, Crossfire is working towards increasing their processes and reputation. It’s already pretty strong having been running now for around 12 years. They’re not just distributing in Australia either – as they are becoming quite popular in Canada.

In Short

Crossfire is a good company that’s building themselves a good reputation. Sure – they’re not impressing everyone but the volume of happy owners is apparent. What they build actually works and you can buy one for the fraction of the price of the equilavent of a Yamaha or Honda.

And now, they’re not the only company in town. But for parents looking to help their kids getting started offroad without the huge expense and burden, then this is a great starting point.

DirtBikeBitz Review: Are They Worth It?

Have you ever shopped at DirtBikeBitz? We recently had an experience that we wanted to share in this unbiased review.

They aren’t too well known outside of the United Kingdom, but we did want to shine some light on whether they are worth buying from.

Let’s begin.

DirtBikeBitz Review

DirtBikeBitz is one of the leading dirt bike stores in the United Kingdom. The industry is small and so we’re glad to see a company supporting the local industry and sponsoring some events.

We did our research into this company to check if they’re legit. Fortunately, they’ve been in business now for around 15 years and they’re doing what they’ve always done – source the best gear for riders who demand excellence.

Their prices are reasonably low and they look to constantly seek new products from suppliers around the world, including Australia. What we love is the ethics with this company as they support children’s dirt bike skills development and training, while making it more affordable for parents to get the gear they need.

Customer Service

A key selling point with any dirt bike store is whether they can engage with their customers both before and after the sale. Fortunately, we can see this quite evident with TrustPilot and a few other sites that we checked.

They are certainly way beyond standard in the rankings there. When we chatted to their team, they were very knowledgeable about what they were selling and recommended us some gear that would suit us very well, namely bags for riding.

We mentioned before about ethics. What’s unique with DirtBikeBitz is their Modern Slavery Statement. You should really have a read of that one if you’re mentally prepared. After all, it’s a complete eye-opener to the realities of product manufacturing.

DirtBikeBitz is owned and operated by Internet Fusion Group. They are a lifestyle brand that owns other sites like Magic Seaweed, so you know you’re dealing with a legitimate group.

Customer Complaints

Given the professional reputation behind DirtBikeBitz, there are so few complaints online. You often see a key message with complaints in that the individual had a rare experience, such as a lost parcel or out of stock item.

Generally what happens is that someone is far less likely to leave a 5-star review than a 1-star review, yet this company has found a way to really prop themselves up to the high 4’s and provide a better representation of their reputation.

The best part is that they have a professional customer service team who deals with issues as they come up. If you have a problem, help is always just one phone call or message away.

In Short

While the UK dirt biking community is small, we’re glad that gear and parts are merely a few clicks away. Instead of paying the import duties, shop locally and support a local store.

Sure, not everyone is happy but the vast majority are. After all, they’ve been in business sin 2006. We look forward to being on the shelves real soon.

Motocard Review: Are They Any Good?

Motocard is an online motorcycle store and if you’re outside of Europe, it’s hard to know if they’re actually legitimate.

Fortunately, they are. Thousands of people have left reviews detailing their experiences with Motocard. However, we wanted to provide an unbaised and unpaid review sharing our opinion. This way you can get a fair estimation as to whether they’re worth it for you.

Let’s begin.

Motocard Review

You’re probably doing your research because you don’t know much about this store. Fortunately, Frontaer does! We’re a motorcycle brand though we don’t yet have a commercial relationship with this store.

We’ve heard reports that riders have found gear for cheaper on Motocard and even with the shipping, got their gear delivered for less despite it having to fly for thousands of miles with airfreight. Neat! And so, we had to have a look into this ourselves.

Motocard has a massive team based out of Europe and the United Kingdom. In fact, they’ve been in the business of motorcycle gear since starting in 1982 in the Principality of Andorra, with now 12 stores and a massive online marketplace. They are a Spanish company with a strong focus on the English-speaking demographic.

What we really love is that they also sponsor industry events making it cheaper for spectators and competitors alike.

Range on Offer

Motocard clearly offers an incredible range of gear from road gear to dirt bike gear and everything in between. There is also an outlet division if you’re looking to get a significant discount on your purchase.

What we really love is their expertise. The customer service team actually rides motorcycles so they can answer your question and point you in the right direction if you’re looking for particular parts.

Most importantly – their prices are quite reasonable. Even with the cost of shipping, you’re often paying the same price or even a little cheaper by ordering from their online store.

Motocard Customer Complaints

Have you seen the negative reviews of Motocard? These are to be taken with a grain of salt. You see, this is one person’s experience in the past and the overall review rating isn’t a true representation of any business.

When someone has a 5-star experience, their chances of detailing their experiences online isn’t that high. When someone has a mildly bad experience, you can just about guarantee a 1-star rating. Thus, it’s quite skewed.

What we have noticed is that Motocard is very fair and tries to work with customers to resolve issues and complaints. After all, Motocard is legit and has been trusted by more than 10,000+ customers alone this year from around Europe, and even around the world.

Most likely it’s the international customers who have issues with customs fees and tariffs which they didn’t initially realize. The returns can be challenging for the international customers. After all, who pays the return shipping?

We have noticed that the far majority of customers have an awesome experience paired with very reasonable pricing.

In Summary

There aren’t too many online stores that get Frontaer’s tick of approval. After all, we’re keen motorcyclists that do shop online often, paired with our own brand.

Many people in the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom and even Australia have shopped with Motocard with no issues. With so many brands featured, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for. And soon enough, Frontaer hopes to be on the shelves too.

BTO Sports Review: Are They Any Good?

BTO Sports is a dirt bike store which is one of the largest in the United States, with some 100,000 customers.

Clearly they are very genuine and have been in the business for a long time, but are they worth buying from?

In this guide, Frontaer hopes to shine some light and provides insights. Note: This is an unbiased review of BTO Sports and we aren’t paid for our opinions.

While we don’t have a commercial relationship at present, we do hope to be in their stores in the future. Let’s begin.

BTO Sports Review

When buying anything online nowadays, it’s wise to do your research. After all, you don’t want to be ripped off by being overcharged or having your gear go to a mystery location.

With the constant booming industry of dirt bike riding, numerous stores have poped up over the years. But what we love is using the stores which have been around a long time before the dot com boom years.

BTO Sports is one such store which was founded over 20 years ago. Today they have tens of thousands of items in stock paired with thousands going through the store each and every week.

What we really love is that they specialize in dirt bike gear. Compare this to other stores which have a sub-section of offroad apparel, and it’s soon evident that BTO Sports has worked out who their ideal customer is.

Industry Reputation

Head into any Facebook group and people will be saying good things about BTO Sports. Why? They have become a respected supplier and leader in the industry based on great prices and excellent customer service.

Essentially, they work to make your riding much more enjoyable. Whether you’re a pro or casual rider, you can find just about everything you need in store from the world’s most recognized brands.

It isn’t just gear either. They stock a seriously big range of dirt bike parts and accessories to keep your engine humming along at full capacity. This even includes older models prior to 2010.

Customer Complaints

Have you read some of those negative reviews regarding BTO Sports? It has you a little concerned, doesn’t it? Well, we can shed some light there.

It’s a tough industry to be in because dirt bike riders can be ruthless. For years they may have an excellent experience but have never left a review, but suddenly a single bad experience sees them leave a 1-star rating.

Thus, any average review ratings can be somewhat skewed. It’s disappointing and challenging for businesses, but we’ve seen multiple instances where BTO Sports tried to make things right for the customer.

In Summary

It’s not easy running a huge operation but most of their customers are pretty happy with the end result. That is – their gear is delivered on time and they got it for a good price.

Even people outside the USA are buying from their store given their internationally shipping available. Thus if you need that hard-to-find part, then they’ll be able to ship it your way.

Apart from their site sometimes being challenging to navigate, we can see that they clearly are staking themselves as the industry leader.

Motocross Giant Review: Are They Any Good?

Motocross Giant, otherwise known as Global Moto Outlet, is an online store that’s really lacking reviews and opinions.

We decided that an unbiased review would be helpful. After all, we don’t have a commercial relationship with this storefront at this time.

Motocross Giant Review

If you’re looking specifically for motocross gear, then it’s ideal to head to a specific store. By going to a broader motorcycle apparel shop, you’ll find that the staff generally aren’t up to scratch with their knowledge. The same can be said for ADV and dual-sport gear.

Frontaer is an offroad motorcycle brand so we’re very much in tune with our audience. When we recently came across MotoCross Giant, we wanted to better understand who they are and what they stood for in the industry.

We can initially see that they’re based in Los Angeles and offer online ordering as well as retail sales in-store. For us, it was important that we dug further to research to see if they are worth it.

Gear Selection

What we loved is that these guys seriously have a huge range of gear available to purchase. From clothing to protection gear plus plenty of tools and parts, it’s clear that we wouldn’t have to hunt around for too long.

But it didn’t stop there. The prices are already quite reasonable and we noticed that they have a price matching guarantee. Pair this with free shipping (ground, not air express) when spending over $80 domestically and there is quite a reasonable offer here.

Further more, you won’t pay a restocking fee on the returns. This means that you can buy and try on what you desire without fear that you’ve ordered the wrong thing. The only challenge here comes with international orders, especially from Australia, as that can be quite expensive to pay the return shipping.

Customer Service

At the forefront of any business is its customer service team. If they don’t have all the answers, then the customer is left frustrated. Luckily, just about everyone who works at MotocrossGiant rides offroad, or at the very least, onroad. Let’s not forget that many of them have also used UTV and other offroad vehicles too.

This is important as it helps you to get the clear-cut answers that you’re loking for. If you needed to know whether you should buy adventure boots or MX boots, then they’ll steer you in the right direction based on your intended riding.

Further more, Frontaer checked their online reputation and noticed that their customer service team responds to feedback very quickly. We’ve noticed other stores which take several days to get back to customers who are just left waiting in line.

Motocross Giant Negative Reviews

Have you noticed a few customer complaints regarding Motocross Giant? Well, that doesn’t surprise us actually. Most people won’t give any feedback even if they have a great experience, but when it comes to a mildly negative experience, out come the 1-star reviews. It’s nasty!

Of course, there are two sides of every coin. We noticed that these sites like TrustPilot can’t be relied upon as accurate given that a few negative experiences can far outweight the positive ones. What’s most important is that you look at how the company presents itself and responds to critism.

Going Forward

Motocross Giant isn’t the biggest store in North America in the motocross field. There are some good alternatives out there, but they certainly deliver the goods when it comes to their extensive range and customer service.

Not everyone is happy, but it’s tough to please absolutely everyone in the dirt bike arena. It’s very likely that you’ll have a good experience and if you can get a discount code, you’ll be even more ahead.
