Dennis Kirk Review: Are They Any Good?

Have you ever ordered from Dennis Kirk before? Or are you on the fence after reading negative reviews? Let’s shine some light.

In our unbiased evaluation, we’ll share our honest thoughts with you. Note that we have no commercial relationship with this store. Frontaer just wants to share the facts.

Dennis Kirk Review

There are numerous online motorcycle stores and distributors nowadays. It’s hard to know who’s the real deal. Fortunately, Dennis Kirk have been around for many years.

They stock a full range of motorcycling gear for all budgets, but at the same time – quality gear. You won’t find the cheap eBay or Amazon stuff here.

Their main focus is on the older demographic (hence why Harley gear is featured) but there is also offroad and on-road gear for the under 35 crowd. We audited their website and found thousands of products available through their store.

The parts department is huge too and they often stock parts that we can’t find elsewhere. In fact, many people from other countries including Australia, England and even South Africa do order from Dennis Kirk, often for the first time. When you’re looking for that rare part, it’s wise to search globally.

What They Doing Well

Unlike many motorcycle stores who try to be all things to all people, Dennis Kirk focuses on the premium demographic of riders who enjoy high-quality products. You can see that from their online content and routine blogs, as well as their product lineup.

In addition, we’ve found their customer service team to be extremely helpful. If you have questions or aren’t sure which product to choose, they’re very experienced and can point you in the right direction. This is because their staff all ride motorcycles.

Reputation is a prominent target for Dennis Kirk and so they really do go out of their way to be one of the best in the business of motorcycle parts and accessories. That said – it’s hard to please everyone in this space.

Dennis Kirk Negative Reviews

Have you read those negative reviews and bad experiences by irate customers? Some of them are genuine, while others leave you curious. “Was it really that bad?”

In most cases, such experiences were either mild or beyond the control of Dennis Kirk. We noticed a trend is that products went missing through one of the 3rd party carriers that they use. It’s an unfortunate situation but does happen often.

Now keep in mind that most people who have had a great experience will never actually leave a review online. Yet those who have a bad experience are quick to tell the world about the issue. The motorcycling community is quite harsh, unfortunately.

Our point here is to take both negative and positive reviews with a grain of salt and make up your own mind. After all, if they stock your desired product, then it’s likely that it will both arrive on time and be exactly what you needed.

In Summary

The motorcycle supply world is a tough business and the hardest part is customer satisfaction. Across the board, negative reviews run rampant and Dennis Kirk is no exception.

Yet this represents such a small segment of the market. Almost everyone else has a positive experience and if you feel comfortable ordering online, then Dennis Kirk gets our recommendation. If only they stocked Frontaer’s product lineup. 😉

Rocky Mountain ATV MC Review: Are They Any Good?

Have you ever shopped at Rocky Mountain ATV and MC? If you haven’t, here’s our unbiased review of their online store.

Some people are concerned about their negative reviews and rightfully so – you’re spending your hard-earned money here, so you need to be careful online. We’re going to share our opinion and perspective.

Please note that we have no commercial relationship with the store and don’t get paid for online reviews.

Let’s begin.

Rocky Mountain ATV MC Review

If you’re a dirt bike rider like us, no doubt you’ve heard of Rocky Mountain before. They are one of the most popular brands in the business and stock just about everything there is in the offroad motorcycling world.

While they started out catering towards ATV riders, today they serve a lot more people in the offroad cycling world. Unlike RevZilla which is quite broad (and appeals towards street riders predominantly), Rocky Mountain really understands the needs and motivations of those off the beaten track.

It’s great that they have niched-down so they can better know riders. Some motorcycle stores try to be all things to all people.

What They’re Doing Well

The very best element of Rocky Mountain is their YouTube content. It’s real and thriving, and the comments can be quite comical to read.

In fact, some people head straight to the comments section to see any discussions about products. Sometimes the comments are more honest than the actual content that is being convered.

Clearly these guys put a lot of effort into their content production to help consumers make a better choice. They clearly know their product range and are expanding all the time.

What we truly love is their event sponsoring. It’s rare not to see them at any state or national events across the country and ensuring that competitor and spectator fees are kept low.

Rocky Mountain ATV MC Negative Reviews

Have you seen the extensive negative reviews online? It’s quite surprising, but when we better understand the nature of the end customer…then it makes perfect sense.

You see – in the online world people don’t have an emotional filter and can let loose when one single problem happens. On the flip side, they are very unlikely to leave a 5-star review even when the experience was very good.

Thus, people are more inclined to simply throw a 1-star review about a company online. You’ll actually find low average ratings for a range of competitors in this space too, so no one is really exempt.

Essentially, it’s very unlikely to keep everyone happy. Often these issues arise from delayed shipping and Rocky Mountain ATV and MC uses a range of 3rd party carriers who aren’t always reliable.

What Could Improve

In addition to improving their online ratings, we’d love to see more brutal honesty with their product reviews. They’re sometimes a little too generous on products that they sell which leads consumers to lose a little trust in the process.

Further – we’d love to see faster delivery times as Amazon generally ships out a little faster. That said – Amazon has a massive amount of fulfillment centres across the country and can get products out to customers very quickly.

In short – Rocky Mountain ATV and MC is still doing an excellent job and thousands of customers order from their online store daily. So take the negative reviews and customer complaints with a grain of salt.

Bikebiz Parramatta Review: Are They Any Good?

Bikebiz is a popular motorcycle store in Parramatta stocking Yamaha, Suzuki and Aprilia as well as a huge range of riding gear.

That said – are they worth dealing with given their ratings are a little on the low side?

In this unbiased review of Bikebiz, we’ll provide our honest opinion. We have no commercial relationship with this dealership either.

Bikebiz Review

We’ve been in our fair share of motorcycle dealerships before. Sometimes you go in and you’re helped right away, and at other times you’re standing around for 10 minutes.

With Bikebiz, our experiences were quite good. The staff are knowledgeable and knew how to help us. This is despite the fact there were a few other people in the store at the same time too.

But of course, not everyone has these experiences. This is why you’ll find quite a few negative reviews of Bikebiz online by Australians who haven’t had a good experience. Why? Because quite clearly some people haven’t had a good experience and it’s hard to keep everyone happy.

You’ll actually find no perfect motorcycle store in Australia. Now when you consider the nature of Australians to instantly leave a bad review before reaching out first for a resolution, it’s fair to see the industry average drops to just 4 stars.

So with that in mind, Bikebiz likely aren’t as bad as their online reputation accounts for and certainly our experiences are different.

What They’re Doing Right

One thing that Bikebiz is doing well is their social media management and delivering great content. Clearly they’ve very much into the offroad motorcycling world and are passionate about helping others through the myraid of choices available in the market today.

You’ll find them stocking a range of manufacturers in store from dirt bikes to road motorcycles and even some adventure touring bikes (our favourite here at Frontaer). This means they aren’t tied to one brand and can recommend a bike that will suit you the best.

One thing that we’ll really praise is their sponsoring of industry events. They’re heavily invested in children’s development of the sport and some races have Bikebiz as major sponsors to make the competition pricing cheaper for the kids and for mum and dad’s wallet.

When you do get into the store, the range of gear is quite extensive and probably the biggest selection anywhere in Western Sydney. You’ll also find plenty of accessories, tools and spare parts to keep your bike in excellent working order.

Finally – they are open 7 days a week which is super handy though it can be busy on Saturday’s.

What Could Improve

Clearly some of the lower reviews could be resolved through reaching out to individuals. Some of the past experiences may have been with staff who are no longer employed there, so something to consider if you’re on the fence about making a purchase.

Another great improvement would be to see more blog content. Their last blog was published more than 6 months ago. Compare this to thriving US-based motorcycle stores who publish content almost daily in both written and video format that readers closely follow, and it’s clear how one could build a stronger reputation.

That said – our experiences with Bikebiz have been quite pleasant and the shelves are well-stocked. The only thing missing? Frontaer’s bags. 😉

In Summary

Bikebiz is a long-standing Sydney motorcycle store who has deep roots in the industry. While not the most reputable dealership around, we can imagine that going forward – there will be a large push on improving their online reviews and ratings through world-class customer service.

Don’t let the bad words of a few people worry you. Remember that most people have had a great experience in store, especially in these recent months. It’s not easy running a motorcycle store at 100% perfection, but these guys are clearly working on getting themselves up there.

RevZilla Unbiased Review: Are They Any Good?

Have you ever purchased from RevZilla? We recently bought some gear and wanted to share our unbiased review.

After all, you want to know if they’re worth buying from online or if there are cheaper alternatives available. If you search around, you’ll generally find discounts and coupons that will save you some dollars at checkout.

We don’t have a commercial relationship with RevZilla and don’t get paid anything. Thus, our reviews are unbiased as they come.

RevZilla Review

Have you been on RevZilla’s YouTube channel? It’s a complete guide motorcycling including what gear to buy and how to get started. For the experienced rider, there is plenty of content to help you get a better grasp of what product suits you best.

If you’re new to motorcycling, then RevZilla is the #1 place online to buy gear for your motorcycle. That includes parts and accessories, with just about every brand listed online…except (so far) for Frontaer. 😉

The company has a cult-like following for the 2-wheel crowd and looks after their customers very well. This is why you’ll typically see 5-star reviews online for RevZilla and it’s one company that has earned their reputation in the motorcycling world, based on enthusiastic riders aiming to make a difference.

What They’re Doing Well

One of the best things that RevZilla has going for themselves is their content generation. They’ll show you how to get started and the right type of gear for you. Similar to the advice you’d get from a typical dealership, this company just brings it to a whole new level.

RevZilla is a company who clearly strives to help customers have an excellent experience. This is why there is so much effort placed on crafting the perfect video and a highly optimized website.

That doesn’t end there, as you’re about to ask instant questions through their website. You’ll get a real person who knows the industry and can help you in the right direction.

Once you order, you’re regularly updated with shipping information and they use premium carriers to ensure your gear is delivered securely to your door. You’ll sometimes get some goodies such as stickers which are popular with th ekids.

Chances are you’ll get some emails from them in the future, yet they don’t blast your inbox with offers of little relevance. They generally learn what type of rider you are and deliver the right content to your inbox.

What Could Improve

Given their size and amount of staff on hand, the prices in RevZilla aren’t always the cheapest. This is why it pays to shop around. Then again, can you wait an extra few days to receive your goods from another marketplace? Probably not.

RevZilla has also become quite large that they cater for so many different styles of motorcycling. This means that they may have to find a particular staff who knows the answer to your particular problem. One of those cases of being too broad and not focused. If you’re an adventure rider, for instance, you’ll find a few online merchants who are fellow riders and know exactly what to advise at any given time.

Yet all in all, RevZilla still provides a stellar service and has the biggest range of motorcycling gear available in North America. While complete rivals to Amazon, it’s evident that you’ll get your gear and have the back up knowledge that they are truly guys behind 2-wheels.

In Summary

Will we continue ordering from RevZilla? Absolutely. Can we get better prices elsewhere? Sometimes, though the biggest range of gear is within RevZilla.

We look forward to the future where Frontaer is included in their adventure motorcycling lineup.

FortNine Canada Review: Are They Any Good?

Is FortNine any good? As a motorcycle store, they certainly seem to stock a lot of goods with riders purchasing plenty from them over recent months.

In this unbiased review, we’ll be providing our own thoughts about FortNine and whether you should be spending your hard-earned dollars with them.

Note: We have no commercial relationship with this company. Just like FortNine, we don’t get paid for online reviews.

Let’s begin.

FortNine Review

Have you shopped at FortNine before? Our experiences have been very good with packages delivered on time and constant follow-up via email.

As Canada’s leading motorcycle store, FortNine certainly stocks a great range of gear. Further still – they have recently launched their own range of motorcycling gear.

You’ll not only find gear for your motorcycle and dirt bike, but they also stock ATV and snowmobile gear. Clearly anyone who prefers the feeling of being behind the handlebars will enjoy what’s offered at this store.

What They’re Doing Well

Firstly – all the big brands are there…except for Frontaer. 😉

Chances are that you’ll find what you’re looking for in the store. Whether that’s luggage sets, accessories, luggage, mirrors or more.

In addition, their social media channels are excellent. We enjoy their YouTube channel and comedic twist. One thing you’ll find that’s rare in their product reviews is brutal honesty. If they come across an average-performing product, then the viewed certainly will know abou tit.

They have built their reputation on producing great content and helping the end user find what they’re looking for. This is why, when you search online, it’s not uncommon to come across their website…even if you live outside of Canada!

What Could Improve

To be honest…not much! Their free shipping bar has been lowered to $49 on most products. Their dirt biking range is extensive and you’ll find just about anything you need for the offroad enthusiast just like us.

Even adventure riders are taken care of with the range of Klim adventure touring jackets in store to keep you dry during those long and extended expeditions. The pricing isn’t always the cheapest but keep an eye out on their promotional emails with sale events.

We have found their text on their website a little harder to read but other than this…the reputation of Fort Nine is evident. They mean business.

Negative Reviews

Have you read negative reviews of FortNine? In the offroad motorcycling industry, it’s very difficult to keep everyone happen. Parcels get lost. Shipping gets delayed. Systems break.

This happens to every distributor, so keep in mind that 1-star reviews are more common while 5-star reviews are less likely to be found. People tend to only leave complaints much more than they leave praise.

Therefore, take these with a grain of salt. Fort Nine continues to improve their systems and reputation and for most people, the process from ordering to receiving and using is very straight forward.

In Summary

Will we continue to buy from FortNine? Sure. Do they always have the cheapest prices? Not quite. What they do have is a knowledable team and a very engaging YouTube channel which is rare in this industry.

If you’re looking for a company that lives and breathes motorcycling, then you’ve found the right place.
